NOT JUST FLEURONS

An ISTD brief, focusing on representing plants typographically and through layout, led my research into focusing on Bonsai trees and how they are more than just a tree but an art form, therefore my response to my research was to create a a leaflet in the basics of Bonsai trees, that could be an educational tool made for anyone that wants to start getting into taking care of Bonsai, it takes time and they can last for a lifetime if taken of properly and they are can also be a reflection on life and therefore the connotations behind Bonsai of peace and tranquility reflect to those who own them, the threshold effect throughout the leaflet is to symbolise the growth of the tree and the numbers on the back signify the lifespan and how they can last so long you can't even fit all of the years on one page.
